Hilary Gosher

Hilary Gosher is responsible for evaluating new investments, leading due diligence and working with portfolio companies after investment to grow their businesses. In addition to her deal team responsibilities, Hilary co-manages Insight Onsite, the firm’s team of consultants and operational experts who provide hands-on expertise and operational assistance to portfolio companies. Among others, this includes advice regarding world-class development, inside and field sales, online and offline lead generation and M&A strategy.

Hilary has a strong background in strategic operations and finance and has invested in networking, healthcare, security, and internet technology businesses. Prior to joining Insight, she held management positions at The Monitor Group, a strategy consulting company based in Boston. At Monitor, Hilary focused on the healthcare, technology and finance sectors. Hilary also worked at Marketspace, an e-commerce consulting affiliate focused on start-ups and online retail strategies. Earlier in her career she held finance positions at Reuters UK PLC and Sea Containers in London.

Hilary has a BA in Economic History (First class pass) and a Bachelor of Law in Corporate Law, cum laude, from the University of Natal, South Africa. She also holds an MBA from INSEAD in France. She is a current member of the Software Information Industry Association’s New York Venture Capital Roundtable.
